Cold heading is a processing method that uses a special cold heading machine to form metal raw materials. It is a kind of cold working technology. This processing method is usually used to produce various screws, coil springs, steel balls, rivets and metal parts such as bearings, gears, and transmission parts. In the cold heading process, the cross-sectional area of the metal is reduced and the hardness of the metal raw materials is increased, so as to better meet the high strength, high hardness, and high precision requirements of the product. Advantages

Disadvantages

2. Compared with hot processing, cold heading requires greater force and stronger equipment power.
3. It has higher requirements on the material and shape of the raw materials, and has poor adaptability to some raw materials with unstable quality.
