Brass alloys are often used in applications that require high strength and corrosion resistance because they have good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
Commonly used brass materials are as follows
1. C22000: Also called commercial brass or G3 brass, it is a copper alloy with high hardness, high strength and high plasticity. It contains 94% copper and 6% zinc.
2. C26000: Also called machining brass or G5 brass, it is a brass alloy that is easy to process and form. It contains 70% copper and 30% zinc.
3. C27200: Also known as brass 66, it is a brass material with high strength and good corrosion resistance. It contains 63% copper, 1.8% lead and 35.2% zinc.
4. C28000: Also known as martensitic brass or G6 brass, it is a copper alloy with high strength, high hardness and wear resistance. It contains 60% copper, 39% zinc and 1% nickel.
5. C36000: Also known as free machining brass or G2 brass, it is a brass alloy that is easy to process and form. It contains 62% copper, 35% zinc and 3% lead, as well as small amounts of elements such as aluminum, iron, tin and nickel.

Advantages
1. High strength and corrosion resistance: Brass alloys are often used in applications that require high strength and corrosion resistance because they have good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
2. Easy to process and shape: Brass alloy is a material that is easy to process and shape, and can be made into various complex shapes of parts through processing, casting, forging and other methods.
3. Good high temperature performance: Brass alloys can withstand high temperatures and high pressures and are suitable for applications that require high temperature performance.
Disadvantages
1. Higher cost: Compared with other common metal materials such as steel, aluminum and copper, brass alloys have a higher cost.
2. Easy to corrode: Brass alloys are easily corroded by some chemicals such as acids and salts, and attention should be paid to the selection of materials and the use environment.
