Anti-rust oil is a coating, usually a transparent or yellow oily substance. It is mainly composed of raw materials such as base oil, rust inhibitor, additives, etc. The main function of anti-rust oil is to form a strong protective film to prevent metal from losing its luster, deforming or rusting. They are usually used on metal surfaces that are not easily accessible to protect machines, equipment, parts or other important metal products. It usually has a variety of anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation properties, and can effectively prevent corrosion from factors such as water, air, and chemicals.
The surface of metal products usually needs to be protected with anti-rust oil, especially iron and copper products:
1. Iron products: The surface of iron products is easily oxidized to form rust. Anti-rust oil can form a protective film on its surface to prevent chemical reactions and thus extend its service life.
2. Copper products: Copper products are easily corroded by chemicals, especially in humid environments, and are prone to forming green rust. Anti-rust oil can prevent the corrosion of copper by substances such as air and water, and maintain its good surface gloss.
